To the mom who wonders if she is holding on too tight when she said no to her high school senior daughter who wants to spend spring break in Cancun: My answer is “Good for you!” This is a world-famous destination site for wild partying. It would pose difficult challenges for your daughter as well as her friends. Hold the line! When she is on her own, she can decide if Cancun is a dream she must fulfill. Having been there during spring break (by accident) I can tell you it’s more like a nightmare than a dream come true.
